We offer FREE online advice for those building houses, to help them navigate the building minefield. We are available for face to face consultations at a cost of $50 per hour.
We also offer Interior Design and Houseplan Drafting Services – price upon application.
Abodium Interior Designs and PHD2 is a joint venture between husband and wife team, Peter & Michelle Hayward, combining their skills in both designing and consulting.
Michelle is the founder of Celebrating Women - 'Giving every woman a reason to celebrate who she is.’
While Peter's specialty is Graphic Art and the drafting of floor plans, as well as superior skills in document design, Michelle is involved in the design concepts and colour consultation side of the business.
Together they can design your new home and then assist you with colour and planning in the interior decorating of your new abode.
Peter can prepare your plans to give to your builder, ready for the Architect and the Engineer to formulate the next step.
When the time comes, Michelle can work with you to assist in choosing colours or to negotiate the minefield of choices in tiles, paint, bricks, colorbond, laminates etc, before you become overwhelmed with the decision-making. These are not decisions you want to make lightly, or under pressure from your builder or his colour consultant.
This blog concept was born from our experiences in building our own homes, and working in the building industry. It is designed to help you walk-through the building process with less fear and trepidation, and hopefully with less drama; reaching practical completion getting the home you want, and, most importantly, the home you paid for!
